Who we are
The ANU Anime Society is a group of students and non-students brought
together by their love of Japanese Animation (or anime). We have been
running for many years now, and are the largest such society in Canberra. By
joining the ANU Anime Society, you can see the latest subtitled animation
from Japan - months or even years before it is released in Australia. Our
love is not limited to just Japanese anime - we also indulge in other
sections of Japanese pop-culture such as manga, dorama, martial arts,
Japanese music and food... as well as hosting a variety of conventions and
events such as anime.au
and chibi.au.
Click on The Club above for information on screening
times and how to join. For a mostly up-to-date schedule of future screenings,
click on Screenings . For more information about a
particular show, check out the Series section.
